They just keep coming! And it is getting hard to be surprised anymore!  How many more outrageous things do we need to see and hear from the abomination in the oval office before Republican leaders are willing to say in public that his behavior is just not acceptable anymore? Calling multiple countries shit holes in a WH forum on immigration which was predictably anything but private shows not only his well-known prejudice/bigotry but colossal callousness and appallingly poor judgment relative to maintaining the prestige of his office, to which he has already done major damage. It is also another national embarrassment for this country, further damaging our image and diminishing our influence around the world, as well as potentially endangering American military and private citizens abroad. All that is obviously too abstract for Trump to even understand. And he actually reportedly loves the controversy that this is causing!! It is no less appalling that White House spokespeople justify this as something that will appeal to his base, as if that should be the aim of the president of United States! It is another example of his utter lack of a filter or internal censor, which is equally alarming in a POTUS. That is on top of all of the justifiable concerns about his mental and emotional fitness and stability. It is beyond sad and tragic that we have become so polarized politically and otherwise that most Republicans will tolerate and even try to justify absolutely ANYTHING that the head of their party says or does, no matter how shameful, offensive or outrageous, for the sake of their political agenda. But that is the way it is, and it is hard to imagine that anything is going to change that in the near future.  We the majority of the public who are opposed to Trump need to make sure that we never become desensitized or accustomed to these aberrations of the president, that we constantly voice our objections and dissatisfaction, and that each and every one of us votes this year to take away the Republican control of one or both houses of Congress!!
